Akhil Bhartiya Kulshrestha Mahasabha ( ABKM) is organising a two day Vishwa Kulshrestha Sammelan at Agra on Sat 7th Nov and Sun 8th Nov 2015 at Mathur Vaishya Bhawan, Pachkuiya, near Kulshrestha Sabha Bhawan, Agra. Substantive number of members of our community are expected from abroad and all over India to participate at the grand get together. An international  get together  of this scale is a rare occasion of meeting members of our community who have settled abroad and are successfully engaged in various occupations/professions. Though they are in different parts of our planet Earth, they may speak differently specially children- we all basically share same culture of Brij Bhumi  and may be some of Awadh and owe our common origins.

We are grateful to ABKM who have  kindly allotted to your Samiti a major time slot on Sunday 08 Nov from 10 AM to 1 PMto be followed by lunch from their busy schedule of two days. During this period we are planning programmes and would  focus on the impact, if any, which your Samiti has made on underprivileged and on students  in our community. As you are aware we have good number of social welfare schemes, scholarships and awards which are disbursed every year. Most of these are generously sponsored by members of our community    The Samiti has been working for under privileged for the last 30 years. We are requesting our Regional Vice Presidents at Agra, Etah, Mathura, Morena and others to make presentations. The evaluation would also be done by Chairmen of Social Welfare and Self Help committees. This effort may help in making our guests both  from abroad and here aware about our progress.

The novel initiative should be made use of by our young aspirants to learn how with all odds they worked hard and made their families and India proud of them. Indian migrants are well respected and are generally financially better than other migrants. They are considered hard working, intelligent and proficient. Our students here may get information on more options for studies. As most of our children are now in private sector or in business the interaction would help in finding better opportunities. The parents may find the meetings useful for matrimonial alliance, some of them, we hope, might be coming for this purpose.

It is a wonderful opportunity for our foreign guests to meet so many of their relations at one place. They are the guests of every Kulshrestha living in India. They are the guests of the community as a whole. It is our duty to make them comfortable and look after them whenever we get opportunity. We in Kulshrestha Kalyan Samiti are laying a red carpet for our foreign guests on Sunday 08 November as per schedule allotted to us.

All members and their spouse of Kulshrestha Kalyan Samiti are invited to participate at the get together at Mathur Vaish Bhawan Agra on Sunday 08 Nov 2015 from 0945 AM to 1 PM which will be followed by lunch. The lunch has been generously sponsored by Shri Shrikant Chandra and Smt Ritu Chandra.

With warm regards
